I certainly hope these celebrities take a stance against Trump and go for Cruz. If they are true constitutional conservatives they will. A secret #NeverTrump group in Hollywood is targeting seven high profile conservatives among others to endorse Ted Cruz. They include: Gary Sinise, Kelsey Grammer, Clint Eastwood, Tom Selleck, Patricia Heaton, screenwriter and director David Mamet and television host Pat Sajak. If they succeed in recruiting these celebrities to back Ted Cruz, that will be quite a feat. It would give Trump’s Hollywood endorsements a run for his billions.

Celebrity luminaries like Mike Tyson, Ted Nugent, and Stephen Baldwin have all endorsed billionaire businessman Donald Trump for the Republican Party presidential nomination.
But it should comes as no surprise that a secret #NeverTrump contingent of Hollywood conservatives and Republicans is hoping to drum up support for their man, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz.
The Daily Beast originally reported on the new lobbying effort. The secret pro-Cruz group has seven major conservative actors they have their eyes on, as one member told the news site:
“We are working on all these people, as well as others. They are (conservative) Hollywood’s most coveted endorsers, and they are being courted from all sides, I can tell you that.”
California Republicans head to the polls June 7th. Right now, Cruz and Trump are in pretty much a dead heat in that state. Trump currently leads the Republican field in the Golden State with 37% of the vote to Cruz’s 30%, according to a USC Dornsife/Los Angeles Times poll. Ohio Gov. John Kasich trails with 12%. California’s 172 delegates are the biggest prize in the entire nomination race. The delegates are awarded winner-take-all at the congressional district level. I sincerely pray that Cruz takes California and getting these endorsements would surely help.
