Info-Me-Cial #5: The visceral argument

Lots of people have noticed that Barack Obama’s speeches don’t really say that much. He seems to be able to “inspire” a certain kind of person just by being Obama. It’s a visceral, emotional reaction, like the very best found in supporters of leaders of… let’s just say governmental systems not called “democracies”… some of which start out as democracies.

Well, we owe it to ourselves to get the “gut feeling” vote out, too. Sure, John McCain is an undeniable patriot, a war hero — you’d think that would be enough. But maybe we just need to hit those undecideds where they live and just tell them what to do:
