Is It a Stimulus Package or Just a “Trojan” Horse for Wasteful Liberal Spending?

Right now, the Democrat “stimulus package” is looking more like a Trojan horse for wasteful liberal spending programs than a program that is actually supposed to help the economy in some way.
And when I say “Trojan,” I mean Trojan.

Republicans say the $825 billion price tag is too big a burden for a nation crippled by debt and that it doesn’t do enough to stimulate the economy by cutting taxes.
“You know, I’m concerned about the size of the package. And I’m concerned about some of the spending that’s in there, [about] … how you can spend hundreds of millions on contraceptives,” House GOP Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) later said.
“How does that stimulate the economy?”

So the economy is tanking, thanks to Democrats including Barney Frank who rejected calls from Republicans to reform Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in 2004.  And now part of the Democrat “solution” is to buy free contraceptives for everybody at taxpayer expense. 

Whee!!  How stimulating!

Completely irrelevant to the problem too, but way better than bread and circuses. 

And Democrats are still just getting started!
