Just when you thought Stephanie Rawlings-Dinkins couldn’t sink any lower in the public’s eye, she meets with renowned tax cheat and race hustler Al Sharpton to set up a march on Washington. Unbelievable! The state of Maryland must be very embarrassed.
The Blaze reports a senior law enforcement source told Fox News that Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake ordered police officers to stand by and watch the looting Monday.
“Let them loot, it’s only property,” Rawlings-Blake said, according to Fox News’ source.
When the source was asked directly if that order came from the mayor, he replied: “You are goddamn right it was.”
Representatives for the Baltimore mayor did not immediately respond to a request for comment from TheBlaze, but the mayor denied the claim in an interview with Fox News.
“So there was no order to hold back?” host Bill Hemmer asked Rawlings-Blake.
“No,” she replied. “But you have to understand, it’s not holding back. It’s responding appropriately.”
