Should adults sleep with their children in the same bed, or is that improper? What age is too old? People have done it for years, in various societies, but as time goes by and people become more civilized, there is less approval of the practice. Some parents in Texas are under criticism for allowing their five children to sleep in the same bed with them.

A Texas mother who shares a bed with her husband and five children is defending her brood’s controversial sleeping arrangement after sharing details about their unique ‘family bed’ in a blog post last week.
Elizabeth Boyce, 35, of Plano, Texas, addresses the harsh criticism she and her family received following her decision to speak publicly about the custom bed, which allows separate surfaces for her and her husband Tom, 44, and each of their five kids, in an emotional YouTube video.
‘I feel like there’s a lot of judgement, and hate, and honestly I really thought that people were nicer than they are,’ she says through tears as she sits in the family’s laundry room.
While there may not be anything terribly wrong with their situation, especially considering the children are young and some aren’t even in the exact same bed, why did she feel the need to broadcast it everywhere across social media? I may have some habits that aren’t particularly well-liked, but I’m not going to share them with the entire world. The best outcome for a debatable scenario like this would have been to keep your personal business to yourself. Watch her story below.
