Moonbat Bureauweenies Won’t Allow Wind or Solar Either

In case you thought our moonbat rulers have any attention of allowing us to generate energy even if we do it inefficiently:

In a move that could pit usual allies — environmentalists and the solar and wind industries — against each other, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) is preparing legislation that would permanently put hundreds of thousands of acres of desert land off limits to energy projects.

We can’t have solar or wind production in the Mojave because someone might step on a desert tortoise. Admittedly, the landscape is beautiful, and solar/wind boondoggles can have a larger footprint than vastly more efficient but largely forbidden oil drilling.

It looks like the pixie dust generated by Obama’s teleprompter will have to meet all of our energy needs.
