This is going to be above a lot of people’s heads because America, especially the American male, has become so wussified. John McCain took it upon himself to throw a barrage at Donald Trump by saying he was leading league of crazies. McCain was actually insulting the conservative base. Trump never lets a shot go unanswered. And when he fires back, he comes back strong and sometimes below the belt. It’s what men used to do in this country, playing the dozens.

“He’s not a war hero,” Trump, a Republican running for president, said of McCain. “I like people that weren’t captured. “He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured.”McCain, of course, was the Republican nominee for president in 2008.
In 1973, John McCain wrote a first-person account of being shot down over Vietnam and held in prison for over five years. You can read it here. Trump graduated from college in 1968, but avoided serving in Vietnam.

There’s an old New York saying, ‘Don’t start none, won’t be none!’. McCain opened the door and Trump blasted him back. I don’t see a problem here.
