Ronald Reagan’s Speech on the Space Shuttle Challenger Explosion (1986): Back in 1986, the space shuttle Challenger exploded during take-off. Ronald Reagan gave the following speech in response to that tragic accident. The names are different, but otherwise his words are just as applicable today.
