One man got more than he bargained for when he kicked a woman’s car door in an AM-PM parking lot. He probably wasn’t counting on the smackdown being placed on him.

Pasadena police Lt. John Mercado said a woman from Modesto was sitting in her car in the 400 block of East Walnut Street around 5:30 p.m. when a man walked up to her vehicle and kicked the passenger side door.
He said the man also started yelling at the woman. The woman and her passenger got out to confront the man about the damage to the car, Mercado said.
The man stabbed the woman in the neck with a pocket knife. She was taken to a local hospital where she is in stable condition, according to Mercado.
Her passenger, described as her boyfriend by Fox 11, is then seen punching the suspect, who fell to the ground.
Luis Martinez, 26, of Pasadena was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. He’s being held at Pasadena jail in lieu of $30,000 bail.
It’s usually said, “Don’t bring a knife to a gunfight,” but this man found out that his knife wasn’t enough in a fist fight.
