A CPAC Picture Post

The CPAC pics didn’t work out as well as I had hoped because I used a camcorder, instead of a camera, for pics. No lights + a dim basement that we were in =’s low quality pics at times. I also completely lost a pic of me and Mark Steyn, which really sucks. The next time I do an event like this, I will buy and carry a top notch camera with me to make sure that doesn’t happen again.

Additionally, I had my pics scattered across a wide range of tapes and once it was over, I realized that I missed getting pics of several people. Oh well, best laid plans of mice and men and all that.

Now, let’s hit them a pic at a time…

This is Karol Sheinin from Alarming News and me. We got to hang around a bit on Thursday. She’s a total sweetheart.

Here’s Bettina Inclan and me. Too bad this pic was so dark because this pic does not do her justice. The two of us headed out for sushi on Wed with Joy McCann from Little Miss Attila and Sean Hackbarth of The American Mind. It was a lot of fun.

Next up, here’s Mary Katharine Ham and me. She was going to head out with us on Wed night, but she got into town late. I didn’t get to talk to her all that much at CPAC, but I can tell you that she’s every bit as friendly to people in person as you’d think she’d be after seeing her on TV.

Next up, here’s Charmaine Yoest and her kids. The Yoest family is just impossibly friendly, nice, and wholesome.

This is Sharon Soon from Conservatives With Attitude. The first time I ever met her was at CPAC and I really enjoyed talking with her.

This is Liz Mair, the Republican National Committee’s Online Communications Director. I’ve done radio with her a few times and it was great to meet her in person.

This is Ericka Andersen & Michelle Oddis from Human Events. After reading their material for so long, it was nice to actually get a chance to banter with them face to face.

“Flip Romney” the dolphin was at the convention on Thursday. I always thought the guy was with the Brownback campaign, but apparently not.

This guy was hawking something called “Leninade,” which perhaps surprisingly, turned out to be absolutely delicious.

Here’s George Will, the keynote speaker from the Friday night banquet.

Here’s W from his 7:15 AM Thursday speech.

Here Robert Novak, the keynote speaker from the Thursday night banquet.

And of course, here are a few pics of Ann Coulter from her non-official CPAC speech.
