I Endorse Democrat John Tanner For Congress In TN

Oh great. A nutjob, racist, crank named James Hart managed to get himself on the ballot in Tennessee’s 8th District.

He’s running in a district that has been gerrymandered to make sure a Democrat is going to win, so apparently the Party didn’t realize he was a young Robert Byrd until it was too late to stop him from getting elected. A guy named Dennis Bertrand gave it a shot, but it was too little, too late. Hart was the only Republican actually on the ballot and voters, most of whom probably didn’t know anything about him except that he was a Republican, pulled the lever and got him on the ticket.

And this guy Hart is just a despicable bigot. Just read this quote from a Newsmax article on him and you’ll see exactly what I mean…

“When I knock on a door and say white children deserve the same rights as everybody else, the enthusiastic response is truly amazing,” (Hart) said.

If a black person opens the door, he says he simply drops off campaign literature and leaves.”

Oh, what a crackpot.

So, because Hart is such a racist scumbag, I will have to utter the dreaded “words of curse” for any conservative, which are: I endorse the Democrat.

I’d suggest that all Republicans in that area vote for Rep. John Tanner this time around. He may have a lot of flaws, but he can’t possibly be worse than James Hart.
