People pay a lot of money to take boats out and go whale-watching. But when a pod of orcas surface right next to a tiny rowboat, it’s not so much exciting as it is terrifying.

Three guys were out crabbing off the west coast of Anderson Island.
Instead of catching crabs they go to see a pod of orcas. They were in a little rowboat, enjoying the orcas from a distance, but then they looked down at the water surrounding their boat.

Whales and dolphins may seem fun and friendly at your local aquarium, but people forget too easily that these are wild animals, and they can be vicious. A killer whale swimming up to a tiny rowboat, nudging it and swimming underneath it, can definitely be a scary moment.
