We have seen the left’s effort to destroy Christianity writ large over the last few weeks if not the last few years under the Obama regime. But the left has yet to win the cultural debate if this new Rasmussen poll is any indication. Rasmussen finds that the US is STILL a strongly Christian nation.

Liberals like to argue against the fact that this nation was founded as a Christian nation. No it wasn’t created to deny anyone else their religion and it wasn’t founded to allow the church to run government. But the entire national ethos, our laws, and our ideals are built on Christian ethics. It is this bedrock basis of our country that the secular left wants to destroy.
But it looks like the liberals are thus far failing to destroy our national ethos… so far.
Two-out-of-three Americans still believe the central tenets of Christianity, that Jesus Christ was the son of God who was resurrected on Easter Day.
The survey of 800 American Adults was conducted on March 31- April 1, 2015 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3.5 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence.
This won’t stop liberals and Democrats from continuing to try and destroy Christianity, though.
