Rush Limbaugh Is Not The Problem
Written By : Michael Fell

This is not a defense of Rush Limbaugh. Rush can take care of himself. This is about a much bigger problem within a much bigger picture.

Have you seen the latest hit piece on Yahoo’s Destination 2012 web-site by David Crary of the Associated Press? Not surprisingly, this latest salvo is aimed directly at Rush Limbaugh. Contrary to the opinion being fostered by the institutionalized “progressive” left smear machine and their eager lapdogs in the “progressive” Party Pravda, Rush Limbaugh is not the problem.

http://news.yahoo.com/limbaugh-slur-law-student-draws-obama-fray-091840204.html

Crary’s failed attempt at journalism is yet another premeditated, coordinated attempt by the institutionalized “progressive” left to portray Conservative refusals to submit to violations of their First Amendment Rights as an attack on all women. House Speaker John Boehner and Rep. Darrell Issa are but two prominent Republicans who have already fallen for that bait, hook, line and sinker.

Sandra Fluke, a 30-year old law student isn’t some little girl fresh from mummy and daddy’s house. She just happens to be a leader of a woman’s “reproductive rights” group. No matter how much Nancy Pelosi orchestrated whining Fluke does about the cost of contraceptives, there’s simply no escaping the fact that Planned Parenthood gives contraceptives away. Surely a leader of a woman’s “reproductive rights” group knows this.

Of course, the current White House occupant simply couldn’t resist the opportunity to come to the rescue. Somehow, bo managed to find time between wasting taxpayer money on failing green energy companies or flying off in Air Force One to a campaign fund-raiser to contact Fluke by telephone while she was waiting to go on MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports”. What a guy!

When is occupy Oval Office going to denounce million dollar campaign donor Bill Maher’s calling Sarah Palin “a c*nt”? When is White House Press Secretary Jay Carney going to admit that the left is, at the very least, equally responsible for “The fact that our political discourse has become debased in many ways”? Were Fluke not an operative for the “progressive” left’s smear machine, she’d describe Maher’s remark as “really outside the bounds of civil discourse”. You can bet a $5 gallon that’s not going to happen.

This is not about contraception. This is not about a Conservative attack on all women. This is about the institutionalized “progressive” left’s agenda to silence dissent…after they spent 2000 to 2008 shouting from the rooftops that dissent is patriotic.

“progressives” are pathetic, forked tongued, two faced, back-stabbing, hypocritical liars who will do whatever it takes to steal the 2012 election. Conservatives aren’t taking that anymore.

Maher called half term’s daughter a name, for being a celibacy advocate after not being able to keep her own legs crossed. The daughter didn’t testify before congres, she turned her own slut lifestyle into a “do as I say not as I do” career.

That’s one definition of a cunt.

    • mightysamurai

You heard it here, folks. Freeda Peeps thinks it’s perfectly okay to call women “sluts” and “cunts” when they disagree with you.

      • whats_up

Well he seems to be joining the rest of Conservatives who seem to think that its okay to call women who they disagree with those vile terms.  I notice you have yet to condemn Rush, why is that mighty, or do you believe its okay to do that?

        • tblrk2006

You must be dense.  She admitted to being a slut, and he called her one.  Is it wrong to call a spade a spade?

        • mightysamurai

Why should I condemn him? I don’t think it’s wrong to call a woman a slut when she is, in fact, a slut. Just like I don’t think it’s wrong to call a man a dick when he is, in fact, a dick. (Speaking of which, you are a dick.)

The only people who ever argue that calling one woman a slut disparages all women are liberals (except when liberals do it, then it magically becomes okay).

If a man got up in front of the US Congress and said something that caused a pundit to call him a man-whore, no one would ever say that that pundit had defamed the entire male gender. Certainly liberals wouldn’t say that.

The only conclusion to be made here is that liberals believe women are weaker than men. Men can handle being insulted, but women are poor delicate damsels who must be constantly protected (but only if they’re liberal women, conservative women can be freely insulted and denigrated).

Somebody give the fat fool an enema and lessons on what constitutes humor….

And bless you, Andrew: you set the best of example of how NOT to take the slurs lying down!

“there’s simply no escaping the fact that Planned Parenthood gives contraceptives away. Surely a leader of a woman’s “reproductive rights” group knows this.”

Exactly. This was never really about this “student” (or anyone else) not having access to free birth control — it has always been about forcing the Catholic Church to provide or at least pay for it.

    • Freeda Peeps

Only conservatives think it’s about access to free birth control.

      It is a HEALTH ISSUE.

      • mightysamurai

Only liberals think this has anything to do with “health issues”. Anyone who wants contraception (for whatever the reason) can pay for it themselves. You DO NOT need to force other people to pay for them, and the First Amendment would prevent you from doing so anyway.

      • http://www.cavalierx.com CavalierX

Forcing the Catholic Church to pay for condoms makes women healthy? Oh, I’d like to see the medical studies on that one, please.

        • Freeda Peeps

No one is doing any such thing. The church might pay for coverage where women can choose from a range of health options. It’s not up to the church to deny women the option of birth control related health care.

Is the church against against boner pills for men who are having sex for pleasure and not to reproduce? If not, it is being hypocritical.

          • mightysamurai

No one is doing any such thing.

If by “no one” you mean “you”.

It’s not up to the church to deny women the option of birth control related health care.

Wait, so the church is running around burning down pharmacies that sell birth control? I don’t remember hearing that on the news.

Oh, they’re not doing that? You mean birth control is easily and cheaply available at any corner drug store, whether it’s covered by insurance or not?

Well gosh, I guess that invalidates your entire argument then, doesn’t it?

Is the church against against boner pills for men who are having sex for pleasure and not to reproduce? If not, it is being hypocritical.

I’m sure there is some church somewhere that is. Regardless, hypocrisy is not against the law. If the Catholic Church (or any other church) wants to oppose certain things and refuse to pay for them, but not other vaguely related things, that is their right.

It’s this little thing called the “Free Exercise clause”. Perhaps you’ve heard of it.

      • tblrk2006

Sorry bub…….your not going to be any less healthy without sex.  And birth control is and always has been widely available.  I win, you lose.

  • Moneybound

Rush Limbaugh Is Not The Problem – not any more, he’s not. This woman-hater has crawled away in ignominy.

    • mightysamurai

Yeah, he’s “crawled away” to his top-rated radio talk show.

It really kills me that you think making one guy apologize for something he really didn’t need to apologize for is some massive victory.

  • JoeBritton

Whatever you say is just fine, but don’t stop saying it. I always felt that the RWN blogger community was just a bunch of white guys ranting about anything liberal. But this issue has actually brought out women bloggers, and few if any believe they are sluts.

    Keep up the good work.

  • PhilipHades

Awww now it’s the lefts fault Rush is a misogynist d-bag? For people who claim to promulgate personal responisiblity you can really shift the blame.

  • me

This is EXACTLY about contraceptive and women’s reproductive rights. No one is censoring anyone, but we are declaring our disgust with the hateful and cruel vitriol that constantly spews from Limbaughs maw. He wants to disagree with Ms. Fluke, fine, but he doesn’t have to do it so deplorably.  Same goes for Maher…I’m not defending his horrible use of the c-word.  And just because one person says ignorant and inconsiderate things about women, doesn’t justify more of the same.
