Donald Trump’s children have been on the campaign trail with their father, but mostly, it’s their dad who is in the spotlight. But after what Donald Trump, Jr. just did, he might get a little taste of it, too. Trump, Jr. was in Mesa, Arizona driving from one campaign event to the next when he came across a stranded driver. He didn’t leave them broken down in the road, though; he hopped out to give her a hand.
Trump, Jr. could have just gone around the driver, but instead, he stopped.
Sorry people..I seriously doubt Bill or Hill could be bothered to perform a random act of kindness like this..Class act from @DonaldJTrumpJrpic.twitter.com/dXWPeuYZrm
The person who took the video, Tyler Bower, later talked about how impressed he was by Trump, Jr.’s help. “I’ve been around a lot of politicians. Most would just freak out or go around,” Bowyer said in an interview with The Arizona Republic. “But Don Jr. … before you can blink, he’s out there pushing the car.” Bower and Trump, Jr. were riding together when they saw the car stall ahead of them.
In addition to helping the woman get her car off the road, they gave her every bottle of water they had and made sure help arrived quickly. She didn’t recognize Trump, Jr. and was shocked to find out who he was.
I couldn't believe how awesome it was for @DonaldJTrumpJr to hop out and help push her car off the road! ???????? it's what makes America Great! pic.twitter.com/skSrqqw0fQ
People quickly praised Trump, Jr. for his classy behavior. “This was a real act of service that he just naturally did,” Bowyer said. “Politics was on the back end of it. The front end of this was being a good neighbor, being a good American. I was 101 degrees outside, for crying out loud.”
Can you imagine Chelsea Clinton ever doing something like this??
