As Russia Ramps Up Its War Capabilities, US Generals Meet To Discuss A Potential WW3 [VIDEO]

With Russia pulling off nuclear emergency drills for 40 million civilians in Moscow (or so they claim), it’s not hard to see that times are getting very scary – and a vision of an all out World War 3 is just on the horizon… We shouldn’t be thrown into another Red Scare like America had to deal with for decades, but what has happened recently, what could happen soon and the potential players involved, should not be ignored.

We can’t afford that.

US military leaders have disclosed their predictions for a major engagement and say war between nation states, like another World War at some point in the future ‘is almost guaranteed’.

They claim that Artificial Intelligence and smart weapons would lead the way in battles – with a ‘modern nation-states acting aggressively’ as they would be likely enemies.

Maj. Gen. William Hix gave the explanation:

‘A conventional conflict in the near future will be extremely lethal and fast, and we will not own the stopwatch, the speed of events are likely to strain our human abilities, the speed at which machines can make decisions in the far future is likely to challenge our ability to cope, demanding a new relationship between man and machine.’

China and Russia are both potential players who have been gathering conventionally monolithic militaries that are progressively technological — and pushing the Pentagon to consider and gear up for ‘violence on the scale that the U.S. Army has not seen since Korea,’

A war stewing in the future ‘is almost guaranteed,’ said Army Chief of Staff Gen. Mark A. Milley, and it most likely will be between nation states. Now this may seem like a doomsday theory, but these guys have to look at all possibilities.

Future enemies, due to the technological advances they are making, could easily end the air superiority the U.S. Air Force has provided for decades, Milley said, and anti-access, area-denial capabilities could play another major factor, one that would render the U.S. Navy useless. Land forces would have to cut a way for sea forces and a majority of the large scale fighting would focus on air support.

Milley said the Army must also be prepared to rely heavily on cyber warfare, which is continually being used against the US by both China and Russia.
