This really is a precious video, folks. Here we see Democrat National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz stumbling and bumbling when asked to explain the difference between a socialist and a Democrat. She revealed that she had no idea what the difference is.

Wasserman Schultz was on MSNBC’s “Hardball With Chris Matthews” this week when she was asked by the show’s fomaing-at-the-mouth host to explain to the audience what the difference is between the Socialist Party and the Democrat Party. She proved utterly unable to explain the difference.
Folks, this woman is supposed to be the head of the Democrat Party! And she can’t tell the difference between her party–the one SHE is supposed to be leading–and the socialists?
“What is the difference between a Democrat and a socialist?” “Hardball” host Matthews asked Wasserman Schultz.
She laughed nervously.
“I used to think there was a big difference,” Matthews said. “What do you think it is?”
“The difference between—the real question is what’s the difference between being a Democrat and being a Republican,” Wasserman Schultz said.
Matthews wouldn’t let her dodge.
“Yeah, but what’s the big difference between being a Democrat and being a socialist?” Matthews said. “You’re the chairwoman of the Democratic Party. Tell me the difference between you and a socialist.”
“The relevant debate that we’ll be having over the course of this campaign is what’s the difference between being a Democrat and being a Republican,” Wasserman-Schultz repeated.
Of course, the reason she stumbled is two-fold. First of all she is a dunce. She isn’t smart enough to even KNOW what the difference between a socialist and a Democrat would be. But the other reason is that these days there IS NO DIFFERENCE between a socialist and a Democrat.
