BOOM: State Takes MASSIVE Stand Against Obama

After all the Target controversy that still continues to rage on…North Carolina took a big hit from the government for a law they had in place to protect women and children. They were threatened and were told they would lose federal funding for their public schools if they did not comply with government requests to let transgenders into any bathroom of their choice…now they have responded. What do you think they said?

From American News:

Now, the federal government is telling the state that its legislation violates federal civil rights law—and it can either respond or risk losing federal funding.

NBC News reported that Governor Pat McCrory has decided to sue the federal government for attempting to rewrite the law to get their way.

“I’m taking this initiative to ensure that North Carolina continues to receive federal funding until the courts resolve this issue,” he commented in a statement.

According to McCrory, transgendered people are not protected under the Civil Rights Act. The federal government, he argues, has no right to force a state to change its policies regarding transgender men and women under that law.

“The Obama administration is bypassing Congress by attempting to rewrite the law and set restroom policies for public and private employers across the country, not just North Carolina,” McCrory argued.“This is now a national issue that applies to every state and it needs to be resolved at the federal level.”
