Congress Comes up HUGE – does THIS to Obama!

It’s about freaking time. Last week Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a Supreme Court merits brief against Obama’s executive orders on immigration. He made the move on behalf of 26 states who have taken a stand against Obama’s lawless executive moves handling illegal immigration. Obama bypassed Congress and unconstitutionally brought in millions of illegal immigrants. He’s now also using the refugee statutes to bring in thousands of Islamic refugees, who surely have ISIS members among their numbers. Obama is breaking the nation with entitlements and benefits alone given to these invaders. He’s trying to pad the voter rolls with them now to ensure Marxists stay in power indefinitely.

From Allen West:

Last week Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed Supreme Court merits brief against Obama’s executive orders on immigration. This was filed on behalf of a majority of states – 26 – who are standing against “the illegal and unconstitutional actions taken by the Obama administration on illegal immigration.”

The other states named in the suit are Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Paxton stated regarding the lawsuit that “Rewriting national immigration law requires the full and careful consideration of Congress, not the political will and assertion of one person. As the president himself said numerous times, he alone does not have the authority to grant millions of unauthorized aliens a host of benefits, including work authorization..”

Aside from Texas, the other states named in the suit are Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia and Wisconsin. Of special interest to me are Idaho, Nevada and Oklahoma. Paxton stated regarding the lawsuit that “Rewriting national immigration law requires the full and careful consideration of Congress, not the political will and assertion of one person. As the president himself said numerous times, he alone does not have the authority to grant millions of unauthorized aliens a host of benefits, including work authorization.” And that is exactly right. Earlier this week, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and a group of 42 other GOP Senators joined the fight and filed an amicus brief (or a friend-of-the-court brief) with the court in the case of United States v. Texas. Their brief offers support for the 26 states that are suing the Obama administration for his unlawful support of illegal immigration and his attempts to force his immigration policies through executive orders. In the brief, the Senators argue that the president has violated the Constitution by using executive orders to create the unlawful program. I hope they actually mean it this time and see this through. Obama has all but destroyed the country. We have to stop the bleeding and fast.
