Obama And I Share The Same Dream

Our President has a wonderful, wonderful dream.

“I just miss – I miss being anonymous,” he said at the meeting in the White House. “I miss Saturday morning, rolling out of bed, not shaving, getting into my car with my girls, driving to the supermarket, squeezing the fruit, getting my car washed, taking walks. I can’t take a walk.”

He says he enjoys golf but is not the fanatic that some have portrayed.

“It’s the only excuse I have to get outside for four hours at a stretch,” he said.

His impossible dream: “I just want to go through Central Park (in New York) and watch folks passing by … spend the day watching people. I miss that.”

Wow, how can it be that we have the exact same beautiful dream?

Just imagine it! You drift off to sleep and there’s Barack Obama and you follow him through his day.

He gets up, doesn’t shave, goes golfing, stops at the supermarket and squeezes some fruit, then he takes the bag to Central Park, sits down on a bench and just watches the people go by. No one notices him or pays any attention. It’s because he’s not President and no one has ever heard of him! Just then, a paper blows by and you get a peak at the front page. It says “Economy booming,” “Deficit reduction,” and “America not led by jug-eared novice!”

Welcome to one of the most beautiful dreams any of us could have.
