Even for a narcissist who gives iPods loaded with his own speeches as gifts, this is kind of tacky.
Before his speech Tuesday at Eastfield College in Mesquite, Tex., President Obama stopped by an early childhood education laboratory with children ages 3 to 5.
Among his reading selections: A book about the presidential dog Bo, including a drawing of the president himself.
Some of the kids didn’t seem to think the caricature looked much like their guest.
“That’s because when they made this book I didn’t have any gray hair,” Obama said.
Wow, if only there were great books to read to kids THAT DIDN’T feature Barack Obama. Of course, when you’re so self-absorbed that you probably couldn’t tell people who won a football game without using the word “I” a dozen times, it’s all about you, even when you’re just reading a book to children.
