ROASTED! Ted Cruz Just LEVELED Obama On The Senate Floor! VIDEO

Many people were angry when they heard how Barack Obama chose to eulogize Cuban tyrant Fidel Castro. Two of his most vocal critics were Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, both of whom are the sons of Cuban immigrants who fled the oppressive Castro regime. And today, Cruz stood up on the Senate floor and slammed Obama for his remarks on Castro.

Before Cruz took to the Senate floor, he had already been making it very clear that he was disgusted with Obama. He spoke openly about it, criticizing world leaders like Obama and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau for not condemning Castro for his lifetime of tyranny, murder and oppression.

On Wednesday, Cruz let loose on Twitter:

But it was on the Senate floor that Cruz delivered a truly epic burn. He started by criticizing Obama for his policies of “weakness and appeasement” towards dictators. “Cuba’s longtime oppressive dictator Fidel Castro is dead. Let me be absolutely clear: We are not mourning the death of some revolutionary romantic, or a distinguished statesman,” he said.

“We’re not grieving for the protector of peace or a judicious steward of his people,” he continued. “Today we are thankful. We are thankful that a man who has imprisoned, and tortured, and degraded the lives of so many is no longer with us. He has departed for warmer climes.”

Cruz continued, blasting Obama for sending a higher-level delegation to Castro’s funeral than he did to Margaret Thatcher’s, and then turned his attention on Trudeau. “What is it about young leftists? What is it about young socialists, that they idolize communist dictators who torture and murder people?” he asked. “It is the face of oppression, the face of dictatorship, the face of evil. Let there be no mistake. Fidel Castro was evil.”
