Canada Forbids ASIMIL8 License Plate

Immigration without assimilation is a cancer. On a sufficient scale, it will either displace a society or render it dysfunctional by destroying its cohesiveness. Yet Canada not only does not insist on assimilation, it forbids the very word:

A Star Trek fan in Canada has been forced to turn over his personalized license plate after people complained its message, ASIMIL8, was insulting to indigenous people.

Manitoba Public Insurance revoked Nick Troller’s personalized license plate that read ASIMIL8, a nod to the Borg in Star Trek. According to a report in the Toronto Star, Troller had been driving around with it for two years, and it was accompanied by a license frame that said “We Are the Borg” and “Resistance is Futile.”

Now Troller himself is learning about the futility of resistance as he falls victim to the liberal Borg.

Troller’s plate had nothing to do with Indians or immigrants, but characteristically the moonbats in charge see everything through the lens of cultural Marxism. Suggesting that Indians raise their standard of living by getting with the program and assimilating into Canadian society is a thought crime. Yet the only other alternative is for Canadians to assimilate into aboriginal culture, and it would be hard to sustain even Canada’s population by throwing sticks at wild animals.

The same applies to the tsunami of Third World immigrants Canada’s left-wing leaders have been ushering in; either they assimilate to Canadians, or Canadians will assimilate to them. Until then, there will be discord.
