Dear God… this is just so very evil. CBS is now actively pushing eugenics. They ran with a story proclaiming that Iceland has “eliminated” Down Syndrome through elective abortion. Actress Patricia Heaton was quick to slam them over it. It’s not ‘eliminating’ Down Syndrome… it’s ‘eliminating’ children. The women are given a test while pregnant and are encouraged to abort if it tests positive for the condition. Almost 100% choose abortion. That’s incredibly sad.
Heaton made my point for me: “Iceland isn’t actually eliminating Down Syndrome. They’re just killing everybody that has it. Big difference.” Exactly. What’s next? Aborting a child that is the wrong sex or that isn’t perfect in every way? How about killing people in general, because they aren’t productive enough? Hey Iceland… you goosestepping now? You aren’t curing the condition… you are killing babies. That’s called murder, or more specifically… infanticide.
From Twitchy.com:
Maybe CBS News missed it, but this is called EUGENICS …
Iceland is on pace to virtually eliminate Down syndrome through abortion. #CBSNOA learns more, tonight at 10pm ET/PT https://t.co/EB6BKgQFN3 pic.twitter.com/SOKU7oe6a3

Nearly 100% of women in Iceland whose unborn baby tests positive for Down syndrome are aborting them. From CBS News:
Since prenatal screening tests were introduced in Iceland in the early 2000s, the vast majority of women — close to 100 percent — who received a positive test for Down syndrome terminated their pregnancy.
While the tests are optional, the government states that all expectant mothers must be informed about availability of screening tests, which reveal the likelihood of a child being born with Down syndrome. Around 80 to 85 percent of pregnant women choose to take the prenatal screening test, according to Landspitali University Hospital in Reykjavik.
They act like it is the test that’s eliminating Down syndrome …
These same media moguls hate white supremacists, yet they are just as bad. CBS and Iceland act as if this is just normal… a routine thing a pregnant woman should do. No, it’s not. Maybe they should look up the word ‘eugenics’. In fact, they act like it’s some kind of cure… a miracle medical advancement. This is just abhorrent and monstrous.
I have seen many Down Syndrome children that were gifted in special ways and wonderful little miracles themselves. To take a life because it doesn’t meet your standard of perfection is just cold and callous. Someone in my family aborted twins, simply because they were male. I never spoke to that person again. I can’t even comprehend such evil or the kind of person who thinks that way. And then again, there is a huge chance of misdiagnosis, in which case, they would be snuffing out the life of a perfectly healthy child who will never have a chance at life.
Here’s a parting thought… why would it stop at Down Syndrome? Why not racial purity or some other delineation? Where does it stop? Nowhere good or sane. I knew CBS was monstrous, but come on… Iceland? Shame on them.
Iceland isn't actually eliminating Down Syndrome. They're just killing everybody that has it. Big difference. #Downsyndrome #abortion https://t.co/gAONIzqRXW

My nephew was misdiagnosed as down & so heavily deformed that he would not be functional. He celebrated 18 & is perfectly healthy.
