BREAKING: Sadie Robertson Makes Tragic Announcement – Please Pray

This is just so very sad. Five months ago, Sadie Robertson asked her fans to pray for little seven year-old, Katie Joyce. When Katie was two, she was diagnosed with a brain tumor that they successfully removed. Four years later, another brain tumor was discovered. This time it was inoperable. So many prayed for a miracle for little Katie, but she lost her battle with cancer yesterday and passed away. Sadie’s heart is broken and the death of this beautiful little girl brings tears to my eyes and just breaks my heart. Please keep her family in your prayers. The doctors did all they could, but little Katie was called home. It will be a very sad New Year for that family.

Duck Dynasty fans around the world are heartbroken after Sadie Robertson just announced that someone very dear to her heart lost their battle with cancer.

About 5 months ago, Sadie Robertson asked fans to keep 7-year-old Katie Joyce in their prayers.

Katie was diagnosed with a brain tumor when she was 2 years old. Doctors at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital were able to remove that tumor. Four years later, doctors discovered another brain tumor- but this one was inoperable.

Sadie, who lives in Katie’s hometown of Monroe, Louisiana, felt a special connection to Katie and visited her in the hospital. Sadie hoped that the power of prayer would miraculously heal precious Katie.

A million hearts are broken after Sadie just revealed that Katie passed away today.

Katie had such a beautiful, contagious smile and she loved to dance. Now, she’ll dance in heaven. Sadie Robertson was a godsend to that family and that little girl. All they can do now is grieve and move on until they see her again. Christians believe that you go to a much better place and that there is no more suffering. I love Duck Dynasty even more now… they are a truly good and caring family. You see it in everything that Sadie does and says. Bless their hearts. I know Katie is loved and will be missed terribly.
