I’ve always liked and respected Chris Pratt. He’s a Christian that actually lives his beliefs. He had a rough go of it early on, but he has worked hard and has become a massive success. He hates that everything is so divisive now. I do too. You are either ‘right’ or ‘left’… for Trump or against him… progressive or conservative. And it seems the divide is getting greater all the time, which should frighten Americans. It is the stuff of civil wars and death. And a big part of this is that Hollywood just plain doesn’t get blue collar workers and vice versa.
Can you imagine living in Hollywood and having to walk a razor’s edge to keep your principles, yet keep working and not get black balled? Good luck with that. Hollywood is full of liberal communists these days and they are militant in their views. Finding common ground between Flyover Country and Tinsel Town is getting harder and harder. It’s Joe Average American against the elitists on both coasts. The only advantage middle-America has is in numbers, but their voice is still quashed in the overreaching moves by leftists. That’s how we got where we are. We went from faith to trannies in just a few years.
I really feel there’s common ground out there that’s missed because we focus on the things that separate us. You’re either the red state or the blue state, the left or the right. Not everything is politics. And maybe that’s something I’d want to help bridge, because I don’t feel represented by either side.
Maybe that’s what I’d want to try to express in my work if I were to write and create something, because it’s a damn shame. I don’t feel we have to be at war with each other like we are, and it’s just getting worse.
Chris is right… we don’t have to be at war with each other. The way you do that is by respecting the rights of others and by following the rule of law and the Constitution. Not by stacking the courts so that everything ‘gay’ can be shoved down our throats and perverts are given free reign across the nation. Without a willingness to allow others to have their own opinions and their own constitutional rights, we are lost as a nation.
The perfect example involves Hollywood celebrities who call for killing Trump and who blame everything on the President of the United States because we have not turned into a communist dictatorship yet, which they sooo want. In such a society, the celebrity class has greater autonomy and a higher status. They are proxies of the government. They are forcing fascism on Americans. You see it in shows such as Designated Survivor and Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, along with a whole host of others. Shows are no longer entertainment; they are political statements and propaganda outlets for the left. So is the media.
I want a middle ground as much as Chris Pratt does, but I fear that will never be and that in the end there can only be one. Sorry to be pessimistic, but unless things radically change, you would do well to take the advice of John Hawkins in his new book, ‘101 Things All Young Adults Should Know’… “Prepare in case it all goes wrong.” In the battle of constitutional conservatives vs. communists, I’m still routing for the conservatives. Our biggest battles are ahead of us. Hollywood isn’t just out of touch with blue collar America, they are actively targeting them.
