Charles Barkley Issues This Message To Black Americans About White People And Police…

It takes a very brave man to speak the truth… especially when it comes to race. Charles Barkley is one such man and is speaking up. He’s telling black people that the problem is not white America or the police, it is black culture. Black people are holding themselves down and the majority of crime and abuse against them is by other black people. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but they’ll never recover unless they do.

Why would Barkley speak this bluntly to a media outlet? Well, it seems to have something to do with the rumor involving Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson’s criticism of Colin Kaepernick’s antics and that he (Rusell), wasn’t being “black enough.” That hit a nerve with Barkley who unloaded after that came out.

From US Herald:

“One of the reasons we’re never going to be successful as a whole, because of other black people. And for some reason we are brainwashed to think, if you’re not a thug or an idiot, you’re not black enough.”

Those words (and many more) were spoken by NBA legend Charles Barkley, who was recently interviewed by a local Philadelphia, radio station, and of course one of the topics was the growing number of black athletes showing disrespect towards the National Anthem.

Barkley didn’t pull any punches about his feelings and about the growing myth that African American’s are being systemically discriminated by white America.

Saying: “Unfortunately, as I tell my white friends, we as black people, we’re never going to be successful, not because of you white people, but because of other black people. When you’re black, you have to deal with so much crap in your life from other black people. It’s a dirty, dark secret; I’m glad it’s coming out.”

Saying that Russell wasn’t black enough seems to have com from Russell’s fellow teammates. Barkley shot back: “If you go to school, make good grades, speak intelligent and don’t break the law, you’re not a good black person. And it’s a dirty, dark secret.”

He concluded the interview by stating: “There are a lot of black people who are unintelligent, who don’t have success, It’s best to knock a successful black person down because they’re intelligent, they speak well, they do well in school, and they’re successful… We’re the only ethnic group who say, ‘Hey, if you go to jail, it gives you street cred.’ It’s just typical BS that goes on when you’re black, man.”

It’s refreshing to hear someone of merit finally tell it like it really is.
