JUST IN: Lena Dunham Rushed to Hospital After MET Gala

As much as I dislike Lena Dunham and all she stands for, I don’t wish getting sick on anyone. She was at the Met gala having a star studded time with models and celebrities and getting her picture taken, when she needed to be rushed to the hospital. Page Six is saying that it’s linked to her ongoing fight with endometriosis. This condition occurs when tissue that would normally grow within the uterus, for some reason starts growing outside of it. And no… I’m not going to make jokes because she supports Planned Parenthood.

Evidently, Lena Dunham has struggled with this condition for a long time. She just had her final surgery to correct the condition and her physician declared her cured. Maybe not so much. Before Anna Wintour’s fashion ball, the “Girls” creator posted pics of herself at home prepping — including a makeup-free photo in the bathroom and another one of her emerging glamorously in a custom Elizabeth Kennedy frock. She later added other poses on the red carpet including one captioned “fatal attraction,” featuring her lurking behind pop heartthrob Joe Jonas. Knowing Dunham, if I were Jonas, I’d be afraid… very afraid.

From Breitbart:

Actress Lena Dunham was reportedly rushed to the emergency room following her appearance at the Met Gala Monday night.

According to Page Six, the Girls creator and star headed to the hospital just moments after she was seen snapping photos with models and celebrities at the annual star-studded event in New York City.

The medical issue was apparently linked to Dunham’s ongoing battle with endometriosis, a disorder in which tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside of the uterus.

The 30-year-old actress and activist has been open about her struggles with endometriosis, including in a November 2015 article in her Lenny newsletter titled “The Sickest Girl.”

Last month, however, Dunham declared that she was “disease-free” after her final endometriosis surgery.

“My [final] surgery went off without a hitch. When I emerged, cotton-mouthed, [Dr. Randy Harris] told me something I hadn’t expected to hear, maybe ever: there was no endometriosis left. Between my surgeries and hormonal intervention, I was disease-free,” she wrote. “That doesn’t mean it can never return, but for now, once my sutures have been removed and my bruises have changed from blue to yellow to green to gone, I will be healthy. All that will remain is my long-term relationship with pain, and it’s time to get real about that.”

Lena went through a series of tests at the hospital, but then was released. They say she is going to be just fine. She appears to be in good spirits and back at being an advocate for Planned Butcherhood. With her gown, she wore a pin for them and platform combat boots. Fashion is not her strong suit. Just sayin’.

Last year, Dunham slammed the gala as “the Metropolitan Museum of Getting Rejected by Athletes.” She was seated next to Odell Beckham Jr. and recalled, “He looked at me and he determined I was not the shape of a woman by his standards… He was like, ‘That’s a marshmallow.’” She apologized later, but I doubt she meant it. Lena Dunham is not a nice person. But I am glad she is going to be okay. She’s the source of such great writing material after all. In John Hawkins’ new book, ‘101 Things All Young Adults Should Know’, he teaches in number 10 of the book, “People are what they are and probably are not going to change much once they reach adulthood.” Dunham has always been a craven liberal and I don’t expect her to grow out of it. It’s just who she is.
