Khloe Kardashian: Armed ‘Security Teams’ Better than Individual Gun Ownership [VIDEO]

I’ll be honest, I have never watched the Kardashians and I have less than no interest in EVER watching them. However, I did read today that on their latest episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner came to the idiotic conclusion that having an armed security team is far better than being armed personally. They have fluff for brains. So, what if someone takes out your team or you get separated? Who’s going to save your butt then? This just proves my life-long theory that most celebrities have more money than brains. The Bloomberg-funded Everytown for Gun Safety evidently convinced these airheads of this.

Back on November 29th, Khloe and Kendall were actually teetering on common sense when they were deciding on the option to buy a gun to protect themselves from stalkers, paparazzi, insane fans and possibly family members (the last one was my idea). Their other selection was hiring armed security guards. Hey, why teach yourself to shoot and arm yourself, when you can spend a ton of money on armed security that may or may not keep you secure? Kim Kardashian said she wouldn’t want to bring her kids into the home if Khloe or Kendall purchased a firearm and kept it there. Bonus! It’s Kardashian repellent. Heh.

“I personally am not a fan of owning guns and having guns in the homes,” Kim said, bolstering her position via an Everytown video which referenced Sandy Hook Elementary School principal Dawn Hochsprung. Does she get that Hochsprung was killed in a gun-free zone? You know, like the Kardashian home is? Why don’t you just put up a sign that says please attack us? Because you are certainly advertising it. Sandy Hook would not let teachers arm themselves and because of that, teachers and a whole bunch of kids were slaughtered. They had no way to protect themselves or fight back.

So, bending to familial pressure and insanity, Khloe and Kendall will now go the armed security route. It’s better than nothing, but not anywhere close to being armed yourself. And asking Bloomberg’s Everytown gun control group for advice is just plain moronic. After they were done with Khloe and Kendall, they were more than convinced it was not safe to own a gun. “No matter how informed or how much practice we’ve had, accidents could happen. And I know that we don’t even want that possibility to be around us, so I would rather avoid all of this and leave the guns to our security team,” Khloe said. Kim Kardashian after being robbed at gunpoint in Paris, “met with some ex-special force members from the Israeli army, ex-CIA agents as well as former Secret Service members” after the robbery and hired an unspecified number of former Secret Service agents as part of the effort to “[amp] up her security to Presidential levels.” The security detail will reportedly include “one team of 2 hired muscles (minimum) everywhere she goes” and the car in which she travels will be “armored.” And guess what… they can’t be with her when she goes potty, or when she showers or when she sleeps at night. Good luck with that Kim.

Having a security team for a celebrity is a good idea, but not being armed and not knowing how to use a gun is almost suicidal. All the money in the world won’t save your life if someone wants to get at you. But a gun just might.
