Rev. Graham on Obama & Gay Marriage: He Might Want Extra Lightning Rods Installed

The Rev. Graham speaks plainly and courageously. He is absolutely right. Although, I might recommend to Obama that he get a portable lightning rod to carry with him. I’m surprised you don’t catch a whiff of brimstone every time he walks by. Obama is an out and out liar – you can tell by how many times he flip flopped on gay marriage alone. As far as “sinful behavior,” his attitudes and behavior are rife with it. It is all he knows and he doesn’t care. Obama is no more a Christian, than the moon is made of green cheese. He’s a Marxist and an Islamist. He’s just plain evil. I enjoy seeing a true Christian, such as Franklin Graham, come out and call Obama what he really is – a hypocrite of the first order.

President Barack Obama’s enthusiasm for homosexual marriage, to the point that he lit up the White House with gay rainbow lights to celebrate, reveals his arrogant flaunting of “sinful behavior” in the face of God, said Rev. Franklin Graham, who added that Obama thus might want to consider having “some extra lightning rods installed on the roof of the White House.”

A lightning rod, usually installed on a building or tree, is designed to conduct the electrical power from a lightning strike into the ground so the building is not damaged.

“A lot has changed in three short years!” said Rev. Graham in a July 7 post on Facebook. “Just three years ago, the President was on record as holding to the biblical definition of marriage.”

“Now he can’t say enough about his support for the LGBT agenda — and right after the Supreme Court’s decision to legalize same-sex marriage, he had the gall to disgrace the White House by lighting it up with the gay pride rainbow colors to celebrate,” said the reverend.

“This is arrogantly flaunting sinful behavior in the face of Almighty God,” said Rev. Graham.

He continued, “My advice? He might want to have some extra lightning rods installed on the roof of the White House.”

Back in October 2004, as a U.S.-Senate candidate, Barack Obama said, “What I believe is that marriage is between a man and a woman. … What I believe, in my faith, is that a man and a woman, when they get married, are performing something before God, and it’s not simply the two persons who are meeting.” He further said, “I don’t think marriage is a civil right.”

Then in October 2010, as president, Obama said, “I have been to this point unwilling to sign on to same-sex marriage primarily because of my understandings of the traditional definitions of marriage.” In December 2010, he said, “My feelings about this are constantly evolving. I struggle wih this.”

In June 2011, the White House said, “The president has never favored same-sex marriage. He is against it.” Finally, in May 2012, Obama told ABC News, “At a certain point I’ve just concluded that for me, personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think same-sex couples should be able to get married.”

On June 26, 2015, the Supreme Court ruled (5-4) that homosexual marriage was a right. In a statement from the White House, President Obama said the ruling was “a victory for gay and lesbian couples who have fought so long for their basic civil rights. It’s a victory for their children, whose families will now be recognized as equal to any other. It’s a victory for the allies and friends and supporters who spent years, even decades, working and praying for change to come. And this ruling is a victory for America.”

In the New Testament, St. Paul writes, “Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither the immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminates {malakoi}, nor homosexuals {arsenokoitai}, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor robbers will inherit the kingdom of God (1 Cor 6:9-10).”

Constitutionally, the Supreme Court does not have the right to abridge our First Amendment rights to freedom of speech and religion. Biblically, Obama and his minions mean nothing to Christians. We answer to a higher power than Obama, the Supreme Court or even our Constitution. Obama’s actions are blasphemous and lighting up the White House the way he did after the ruling over gay marriage was a slap in the face to the majority of Americans and Christians in particular. Civil disobedience will now become the new norm and Christians will simply not comply. This wasn’t a victory for America… it was a Marxist victory and a blatantly evil one at that aimed at dividing the country to conquer it.
