AGW Today: Once In A Generation Cold Snap Plus Others

So, as I sit here writing this, ye olde thermometer says 23, and ye olde 15 day forecast shows well below average temps ever day till the 13th (though, in all honesty, I know that can change from day to day.) And the news reports

Forecasters say the coldest stretch of weather in years if not decades could be heading for North Carolina.

While temperatures won’t be falling to record lows, the National Weather Service says the duration of the cold weather is unusual. Highs could struggle to get above freezing for the next week in areas from Raleigh west.

Forecasters say there are some indications the weather with highs in the 30s and lows in the teens could last up to two weeks. A cold snap like that was last seen in January 1977.

I’m sure the climate alarmists will just say that this is Mother Nature covering up, briefly (like the last 10 years), what Mankind is doing to the climate. Or, they will say something about Man causing this himself through climate change, caused by the release of greenhouse gasses. And they will say it with a straight face and no realization of how absurd that is.

This cold snap is going to be affecting the majority of the East coast, as well.
