OH BOTHER: This ‘Bitter Cold’ Is What Global Warming Looks Like, Explains Al Gore

When you hear “global warming” what do you imagine? First, you probably think of Al Gore (or ManBearPig, if you’re into that.) Next, you likely imagine rising temperatures that cause melting ice caps, rising water and buildings floating in the water.

According to Al Gore, global warming doesn’t just mean “warming.” In fact, it can mean bitterly cold temperatures as well! How’s that for a leap in logic? No wonder they switched to “climate change.” Even liberals might begin to question the veracity of the global warming myth if it meant they were also hot and cold.

This kind of Olympic-level reaching is only something that you can see from someone who made a living convincing people that the world was going to end in 20 years, so you better start driving a Prius now.

Yes, “climate crisis” is the perfect term for fearmongers who are trying desperately to tell people that the planet is literally melting and everyone is going to die. The term “crisis” elicits an extreme emotional response from people and when used correctly it can prompt people in to action.

Of course, he managed to cite one of the only people in the world who actually buy into his “Hockey Stick” graph.

Michael Mann wrote a piece on the “climate crisis” and it goes exactly how you think it might.

“Indeed, most of the Northern Hemisphere and the globe overall, have been unusually warm. That’s why we call it global warming, folks,” he said smugly. But what happens when it stops being warm?

“So, to the climate change doubters and deniers out there, the unusual weather we’re seeing this winter is in no way evidence against climate change,” he says. “It is an example of precisely the sort of extreme winter weather we expect because of climate change.” Wait, so it’s “global warming” when it’s warm, but it’s “climate change” when it’s cold? You really have to stick with one.

The fact that this guy has his head so far up Al Gore’s behind that he’s willing to be this smug about his beliefs, you know that he’s probably getting paid. That is the only reason I can think of that he would say things that are so ridiculous and contradictory. Well, either that or because he’s a liberal and actually believes these things, which is arguably even scarier. How can ones brain accept contradicting ideas like “global WARMING” and “well it’s cold because global warming.”
