SWAT was dispatched earlier today in Texas and an Officer has been injured. Officials are warning everyone to stay clear of the area. This is what we know so far…

An Austin, Texas police officer was wounded this morning in North Austin. A police spokesman noted it took place on the 1000 block of Morrow St.
A SWAT team was immediately dispatched to the area near North Lamar Boulevard. Officials are urging everyone to stay away from the area… The officer is now being treated at the University Medical Center Brackenridge.
The surrounding area will be closed while police investigate.
