An 18-year-old employee of a Utah Subway franchise was arrested this week after police say he slipped drugs into a police officer’s drink.

KSL.com in Utah reported that the young man laced the cop’s drink with methamphetamine and THC while the officer ordered from the drive-thru.

KSL cites a report in which officers observed 18-year-old Tanis Lloys Ukena putting something in the cop’s drink.

“[He] is seen filling the drink portion of the order at the drive-up fountain area…For some unknown reason, he walks away from the fountain machine out of camera view. He then returns to the drink where he is seen spending what seems to be an unusual amount of time getting it ready to deliver to the sergeant,” the report says.

After the officer sipped from the cup, he thought it tasted off. Later in the evening, he started feeling the impact of the drugs he ingested.

“The (sergeant) began feeling the effects of being drugged,” KSL says, citing the report.

“While approaching an intersection that had a red light, he had difficulty getting his foot to move to the brake pedal. (He) drove to the Layton Police Department, where he was observed to have signs of impairment. He was unable to process information and drifted off, and was unable to focus on questions being asked of him.”

According to KSL, the officer will not be identified and will take a few days off before returning to work.

This is absolutely DISGUSTING! Did this punk not think that maybe the officer might become impaired while driving and crash into another person on the road? A person who could be a family member or other loved one of his? He deserves to spend a long, long time behind bars.
