Dear Liberals, Mexico Rated SECOND Deadliest Country In The World – Guess Who’s First?

The way liberal progressives talk about violence in America, you would think that we are far and away the most murderous country on the face of the planet.

According to the facts, however, that particular award goes to a country on the other side of the globe.

A report indicates that while global homicides dropped in 2016, murders in Mexico (and Latin America in general) have skyrocketed:

This assessment of violence in the region is based on more than numbers, although the 39,000 people killed in Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador in 2016 indicate a security crisis much more complex and serious than most other countries in the region. Mexico’s 2016 intentional homicide total, 23,000, is second only to Syria.

Yes, that means that Syria is the deadliest country in the world. This won’t surprise anyone who has been paying attention to global affairs, but it may shock those who are only interested in the happenings of America.

The disturbing jump in deaths in recent years can be directly attributed to Latin American governments’ deployed armed forces as a way to battle the influence of powerful drug cartels.

The war on drugs and the corruption within the Mexican government have allowed drug kingpins like “El Chapo” to thrive in the region. In fact, their influence is so far-reaching that the DEA has reported that “Mexican TCOs [Drug Cartels] remain the greatest criminal drug threat to the United States; no other group is currently positioned to challenge them.”

Democrats refuse to believe this, however, citing the impending border wall as a “weakness” and evidence that Trump can’t do his job. Just ask Nancy Pelosi!

In April, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) said, “The president, I think, talking about this wall, is expressing a sign of weakness. He is saying I can’t control our borders, I have to build a wall.” Not to be outdone by Pelosi, Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), said the proposed U.S.-Mexico Border wall was “a political stunt.”

If liberals were as interested in protecting people as they want us to believe, they would be all sorts of happy to make sure that drug cartels and murderers don’t make their way into our country.

Apparently that isn’t the case.
