Parents should not be beating their children senseless. However, there is an “old school” method which the left will never understand and that is that when your child seriously messes-up, giving them a “whooping” is quite called for. Sadly, when a mother disciplined her teen son for his horrid behavior, she was arrested.

This is a heart wrenching story. This mom was bailed out of jail after a good samaritan heard about her story. She was arrested after for child cruelty charges after whooping her son. 30-year-old Schaquana Spears, “whooped” her son only after catching him and friends burglarizing homes.

As a parent, do you think she deserved to go to jail? She says she “thought she was doing the right thing… It’s how I was raised.” Her 6 children now are in foster care. Spears was booked into the parish prison on two counts of cruelty to juveniles with bond set at $2,500.

If I had been caught as a teenager burglarizing homes, I would still be receiving “whoopings” from my father. I would have had to drop out of school and he would have had to quit his job to fit-in the amount of whoopings I would have received.

This woman is doing what she can to keep her son from becoming a lifelong criminal and loser. If that means a sore backside or a reddened cheek, so be it…
