There seems to be a real pained reaction by some when they witness public breastfeeding. They despise it. But here’s a little invention that serves both the breast, the baby and the guy who feels he just got his eyes raped by witnessing a baby breastfed.

A blanket.

A man verbally attacked a mother for publicly breastfeeding her baby inside a Connecticut Target store, and video of the encounter went viral, Fox-61 reported Tuesday.

Video of the Monday outburst was posted online by Jessie Maher, who was sitting in the café section of the Torrington, Conn. store, feeding her young child around 11:30 a.m.

Alright, how about we come to middle ground here, huh?

Why not just let the woman do what she is naturally built to do when she has a newborn – breastfeed her baby. I personally do not care where they do it, but would it be too ‘offensive’ to, I don’t know, lay a baby blanket over your shoulder so you and the baby have a bit of privacy? That is common practice out in public is it not?

If I’m being unreasonable, well then, I guess I’m arguing with extremists on both ends.
