What does a human life cost? For two thugs, including one 16-year-old girl, it’s rather low — for them, a PlayStation is worth killing over.

On Friday, 28-year-old Daniel Zeitz was meeting up with a couple to sell his Playstation 4. However, what was supposed to be a quick sale turned into a horrific tragedy.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has more:

The alleged shooter in the Friday night incident is a 16-year-old girl whose 16-month-old baby was only feet away at the time of the robbery and shooting, according to Sandy Springs police Sgt. Ron Momon.

Daniel John Zeitz, 28, of Roswell, had listed a PS4 gaming system for sale on Craigslist, and about 9:30 p.m., went to the parking lot of an apartment on Treelodge Parkway to meet a potential buyer, Momon said.

There, he met 20-year-old Nathaniel Vivian and a 16-year-old girl, whose name has not been released.

Momon said the pair tried to rob Zeitz of the PS4, and Vivian, who was in the driver’s seat of a car, struggled with Zeitz, who was standing outside the car, for the gaming system.

Then, the 16-year-old girl fired her handgun, sending a bullet through Vivian’s hand and into Zeitz’s chest – killing him.

It is mind-boggling that people would kill a human being over something as trivial as a gaming system. They’ve robbed another person of their life, ensured that their child will grow up without parents, and thrown their own lives away as well. It’s a tragedy no matter how you look at it.
