Burger King Launches Whopperrito: They’re merging burgers with burritos

I’m a fan of a good burger and I’m a fan of a good burrito, but never have I ever thought that they would be the same product. I want to have faith that this will taste good, but I’m not sure if a tortilla can effectively replace a bun. Either way, you have got to respect Capitalism for bringing about this Frankenstein product that will be talked about for quite some time.

From Mirror:

Burger King has unveiled a new launch which brings together the best of the burger chain with a BURRITO.

The Whopperrito takes a Whopper as sold all over the world by the brand and repackages it.

Instead of coming stuffed in a roll, the Whopperrito is rolled up in a wrap like a burrito.

The culinary phenomenon was shared on Instagram by Foodbeast who explained that it has “flame-grilled beef, American cheese, tomatoes, lettuce, mayo, ketchup, pickles and white onions”.

Currently being sold in Burger King venues in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, it’s unclear as to whether its circulation will be expanded any time soon.

Fans online are thrilled, with Cafe tweeting: “Everyone please take a moment to go salute your nearest flag,” in celebration.

Dylan Stevens said: “If I was drunk enough I’d eat a whopper burrito,” but Jay Snyder wasn’t so sure.

“Stop, the Whopper Hot Dog was bad enough, putting pickles and mayo in a burrito is a war crime,” he posted.
