This Chick-fil-A Video Is Going VIRAL – See It and You’ll Know Why

Just simply awesome! A woman and her daughter went to a Chick-fil-A restaurant in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The woman’s daughter is deaf and has never ordered for herself before because no one knew sign language and could take her order. That is until they met a high school senior name Taylor. She just started there a few weeks ago, but is industrious and doing very, very well. When she noticed the girl was hearing impaired, she started using sign language and the girl got to order for herself. That seems like a small thing to most of us, but to her it was everything. This is just a truly happy, inspiring event.

Chick Fil A

From Western Journalism:

The needs of the hearing impaired often go unmet. Going to the bank, speaking with a police officer during a traffic stop, or something as simple as buying a ticket at the movie theater can be frustrating for the hearing impaired. Whenever possible, businesses attempt to accommodate for the needs of the hearing impaired but the availability of sign language translators is a real issue.

At one local Chick-fil-a restaurant, the needs of the hearing impaired can be met on a daily basis. That’s because at the Raeford Rd. Chick-fil-a location in Fayetteville, NC, Taylor Anez, a high school senior, knows sign language. The news of Taylor’s ability to sign went viral this week when Terri Buelman and her daughter Cynthia Walker posted their experience in a video on Facebook. For the first time in Cynthia’s life, she was able to order her food herself by using sign language to order. Anez used her knowledge of sign language to take Cynthia’s order in a simple act of service that is making headlines.

The video of Taylor helping this girl with sign language has gone viral with over 200,000 Likes. I can see why. This takes thoughtfulness and customer service to a whole new level. I’ll bet a ton of new customers go there because Taylor helped one other person like this. No amount of advertising will do as much as that one act of kindness. It was a touching moment from someone who actually cared about another’s circumstance. No one stared at this girl or made her feel inferior… for the first time ever, she got to order a meal just like anyone else. The word of this will spread wide and far. I see a very bright future for Taylor. She’s a keeper.

She Even Asked Me How That Lady Knew How To Sign 🙂

"I would like to say how much we appreciate your new employee named Taylor, at the Raeford Rd location in Fayetteville, NC. My daughter Cynthia Walker has never experienced a chance to order for herself without people just staring at her. Taylor did not miss a beat on greeting us with a warm smile, and asking my daughter first what she would like. My daughter was so surprised and happy. She even asked me how that lady knew how to sign to her. Taylor has only been employed there for a couple of weeks and she is already so efficient in her job. We will make this location our regular stop. Everyone there was so courteous and walking around checking on customers. Great job to the manager for having an awesome team!"#LoveWhatMatters Video courtesy of Terri Gioia
