Disarmed Crook’s Own Gun Used to Wound Him in Robbery Gone Bad (Or Gone Good, if You Will)

Well, this idiot crook got a dose of his own medicine after he tried to rob a man using a shotgun as his weapon of choice. But the man who was supposed to be the victim had other ideas in mind.

Looks like this crook picked the wrong victim!

Police said 18-year-old Channel Johnson told his intended victim that he was robbing him on Wednesday morning in the southeastern District of Columbia, WTTG-TV reported.

The 22-year-old, however, was not an easy target.

He and Johnson struggled, police said, and Johnson wound up shot in the back, struck by the blast of his own shotgun.

He was hospitalized and later died of his injuries.

Police are not expected to press charges against the man involved in the altercation.

My favorite line of this story? It’s that last one above.
