Emmy Award-Winning Anchorwoman Fired For Telling The Truth About Black-On-Black Crime

Black-on-black crime is an epidemic in America and the left seems infinitely more committed to concealing this problem than helping to fix it. Black youths are killing each other in astounding numbers and any who attempt to address this problem are accused of bigotry. One Emmy Award-winning newscaster made an observation about the problem of black-on-black crimes in America and for her candor, she was summarily fired from her job.

From the Conservative Tribune:

Following a grisly mass shooting that resulted in the deaths of five adults and an unborn baby in Pittsburgh in March, a local news anchor took to Facebook to make some basic observations about the tragedy — and for that, she was fired from her job.

Multiple Emmy award-winning anchorwoman Wendy Bell was summarily released from WTAE following a Facebook posting she made on March 21 regarding the brutal slayings that occurred on March 9, even after having apologized for her blunt assessment, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Bell, who is white, wrote, “You needn’t be a criminal profiler to draw a mental sketch of the killers who broke so many hearts two weeks ago Wednesday. They are young black men, likely teens or in their early 20s.

“They have multiple siblings from multiple fathers and their mothers work multiple jobs,” she continued. “These boys have been in the system before. They’ve grown up there. They know the police. They’ve been arrested.”

She went on to contrast those likely suspects with a young black teen she had seen working hard at a local restaurant, pointing out his positive attitude and work ethic.

Law enforcement authorities in Pittsburgh have thus far studiously avoided releasing any sort of description of the suspects in the murder, and no arrests have been made yet.

Reached for comment following her termination, Bell told the Associated Press, “It makes me sick. What matters is what’s going on in America, and it is the death of black people in this country. … I live next to three war-torn communities in the city of Pittsburgh, that I love dearly. My stories, they struck a nerve. They touched people, but it’s not enough. More needs to be done. The problem needs to be addressed.”

The problem does indeed need to be addressed. The only problem is, everyone who speaks up to address it is immediately shouted down and smeared as a racist or bigot, sometimes even having lives or careers destroyed in the process.

Nevertheless, there are facts that seemingly back up Bell’s assessment of the likely perpetrators in the horrendous crime.

According to Front Page Mag, some 72 percent of black babies are born out of wedlock, ultimately growing up without a father-figure and a mother that is either never home because she is working multiple jobs, or is always home because she is relying on welfare to support the broken family.

Such an upbringing markedly increases the risks of an individual turning to crime at some point, resulting in the terrible statistic of homicide being the No. 1 cause of death for young black man, nine times out of ten at the hands of another young black male.

Unfortunately, such truths remain unspeakable in our liberal-dominated, politically correct society. So urban inner cities will remain crime-infested killing fields, and suburban news anchors will continue to be fired for bluntly pointing out the truth.

It very well may be that this incident is not an incident of black-on-black violence. However, statistics show that it is a pretty good guess.

While the mainstream media tirelessly crusades to showcase the bigotry of the Black Lives Matter thugs as supposed social justice, the left entirely neglects to address the serious issue of black-on-black violence.

This isn’t a “white thing.” It isn’t a “black thing.” This is a human thing. It doesn’t matter where the help comes from – the black community must come together and/or encourage help from outside their communities to help curb this problem that is robbing so many of their lives and futures.
