Every once in a while, a story comes along that just makes you want to jump up and yell, “Yeah!” This is one of those. Two women go into a nightclub in San Francisco. Some dirt bag grabs the behind of the first woman. The second woman gets in his face and tells him to back off. He spits in her face and takes a swing at her. But this is no defenseless woman… this is UFC women’s bantamweight fighter Leslie Smith, who proceeds to beat the crap out of Mr. Asshat. Then Leslie’s friend, UFC fighter Heather Clark, takes a flying soccer kick at said dirt bag’s nether region and sends him to Never Never Land. He’ll be speaking falsetto for some time, I would wager. The guy resorted to fighting like a girl and looked like ground beef when these women were done with him. Good times. Sometimes violence is the answer.

From Q political:
In an age where sexual harassment seems to be on a rampage, this story was a breath of fresh air. When these two UFC fighters saw a man violate a woman (in public no less), something had to be done. This is EPIC!
According to reports, UFC women’s bantamweight fighter Leslie Smith defended a fellow woman after an unnamed man grabbed the woman’s behind. When Smith came to the woman’s aid, the man proceeded to spit in Smith’s face.
But the assaulted woman and Smith weren’t left to fend for themselves for long. Another fellow UFC women’s strawweight and TUF 20 competitor, Heather Jo Clark quickly joined the fight.
Leslie Smith’s trainer, Cesar Gracie, explained the altercation:
“Dirtbag decides to sexually harass group of females. What he didn’t know was that 2 of the women were MMA fighters currently in the UFC.
While going out to a club in San Francisco, a malcontent male decided to cop a feel of a female entering the club. The female turned to her friend, current UFC fighter, Leslie Smith and exclaimed, ‘that guy just grabbed my a$$’. Leslie approached the man and said, ‘hey you can’t do that’ at which point the larger male responded, ‘[email protected] you I can do whatever I want’
Leslie retorted, ‘no [email protected] you can’t’
At this point the man became irate and spat on Leslie’s face. He then proceeded to take a punch at what he thought would be an indefensible woman.
Wrong.
Leslie ducked the punch and shot in for a takedown. She quickly got to the mans back and applied a choke but decided he needed some elbow strikes and punches to learn a valuable lesson. The man unable to fend off the better fighter, desperately grabbed at Leslie’s hair and in vain resorted to fighting like a girl.
Approaching the melee was Leslie’s friend and Meisha Tate training partner, UFC fighter Heather Clark.
Heather, without missing a beat, delivered a running soccer kick to the man’s nether regions.
Leslie again achieved mount and delivered a series of elbows until the man, now having his face looking more like hamburger meat, yelled out that he was sorry and that he respected them. At this point Leslie disengaged and allowed the man to get up and go. He left having learned a valuable lesson and the women returned to the club.”
Smith also provided commentary on the crazy incident:
“I’d be second guessing myself and my judgement if I had been drinking but I wasn’t. I can’t say I would be able to avoid the violence if given the chance to play it out. I was morally compelled to tell the man that my friend’s butt (in a pair of jean btw) was not public property for him to grope at will and then he spit and swung on me. I feel like I stuck to my policy of non initiation of violence while also standing up for what I know is right.
At first I was super embarrassed, like, Oh jeez, I’m fighting with people. That’s totally against my style. I believe in the non-initiation of violence. I don’t think that going out and fighting people is the best way to do it. I think violence like fire needs to be controlled and it’s a part of us. It’s an essential part of our lives and that’s why we need to keep such a close rein on it while making sure to give it an outlet.
Thanks everyone, I never meant to fight him but I couldn’t let my friend get disrespected like that and he escalated it from there. I make mistakes but I try (and sometimes fail) to live by a policy of non initiation of violence.”
The guy apologized in the end and begged for mercy. The women let him go and he slithered out of the club and back to his lair to lick his wounds. This should happen more often – men don’t have the right to just take what they want from women and grope them as if they were testing fruit or something. Not only are these women in top fighting form and beautiful, you can tell by the way they articulate themselves, they are incredibly intelligent. Violence was a last resort, but one whose time had come at that point. If you are going to do the deed, be ready to dance. That’s one guy who found out the hard way, no he can’t do whatever he wants. Boom!
