Black Writer Says ‘Daily Show’ Host Jon Stewart Told Him to F*ck Off When He Tried to Discuss Race Issues

An African American writer for the soon to be defunct “Daily Show” on the Comedy cable network is out there saying that every lefty’s favorite host, Jon Stewart, told him to “f*ck off” when he tried to bring up concerns that the show was too soft of race issues.

The black writer felt that race was sometimes treated in a cavalier way and when he tried to talk to Stewart about it he was treated poorly.

There is one individual who is not as impressed with Stewart however – former Daily Show writer and correspondent Wyatt Cenac.

In a recent interview, Cenac said his working relationship with Stewart is not what he imagined it would be, and that the pair had a heated argument when Cenac challenged Stewart on the issue of race.

Speaking with Marc Maron on his WTF podcast, Cenac shocked many when he admitted he did not get along with Stewart.

The problem he explained began with a 2011 segment that Stewart did involving Herman Cain during his bid for the Republican presidential nomination.

Cenac, who got his start on the show and was the only black writer at the time, said he was on the road working on an assignment when he saw Stewart imitating Cain in a segment and was not comfortable with the voice being used by the host.

‘It was a little weird. It reminded me of a Kingfish type of a thing,’ he told Maron, referring to the character from Amos ‘n’ Andy.

Rather than keep that opinion to himself, Cenac decided to voice his concerns in a staff meeting with Stewart.

‘I said, “Look, I gotta be honest. When I heard it, I cringed a little bit. It bothered me,”‘ Cenac told Maron he said to Stewart.

‘He got incredibly defensive. I remember he was like, “What are you trying to say? There’s a tone in your voice.” I was like, “There’s no tone. It bothered me. It sounded like Kingfish.” And then he got upset.’

Cenac said that Stewart began to repeatedly hurl expletives at him at this point, screaming ‘fu*k off.’

It’s hilarious when lefties attack lefties, isn’t it?

Now, I said above that this cable show was “soon to be defunct.” You all know that host Jon Stewart is leaving the show soon, right?. Now, I do realize that they are replacing him with a new host, certainly, and that the show will try to continue. But, come on. You guys DO know that once Stewart leaves the ratings will fall through the floor and the show will be mercifully canceled. Right?
