BREAKING: Supreme Court Upholds Obamacare Insurance Requirements

In a long-awaited decision, the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled in favor of Barack Obama’s insurance mandates in King v Burwell handing Obama a big victory.

The way Obamacare was written, the insurance exchanges were only allowable in states that accepted Obama’s state exchange insurance market. But many states decided not to set up a state exchange. Obama decided to simply ignore that and go around the law and offer subsidized insurance to citizens n states that didn’t have an exchange.

Critics said this was illegal and also noted that the law forcing everyone to have insurance was an impossible requirement since Obamacare clearly says it is a requirement only in states that have exchanges. Opponents of Obamacare hoped that a favorable ruling would end the insurance mandate.

But in the six to three decision, Justice Kennedy and Chief Justice Roberts voted with the liberal wing of the court to maintain the status quo in Obamacare ruling that it just doesn’t matter what they law actually said as written and instead deciding that what the justices *think* the law really meant is what it *means*. Here is how USA Today explained the case…

Pssed in 2010 and narrowly upheld by the court in a 5-4 ruling in 2012, the law has extended health insurance to 12 million Americans. But four words in its lengthy text–“established by the state”–now endanger federal subsidies relied upon by 6.4 million participants in 34 states that did not create their own exchanges or marketplaces. The justices must decide whether the law prohibits that financial aid.

With this decision Chief Justice John Roberts has confirmed here that he doesn’t care about the law. He is a political judge who only cares about the political climate, not the text of the law. He is essentially a traitor the the U.S. Constitution.

Anyone interested in the meaning of the U.S. Constitution will have to realize that we have a US Supreme Court that doesn’t care what the Constitution says.
