Nat’l Media Ignores Zimmerman’s Personal Ties to African American Community

As the left is losing its tiny collective mind calling George Zimmerman a “racist,” it is coming to light that he is an Obama voter and even tutored black kids in the past. Yeah, a real KKK member there!
Preferring to launch racist attacks on Zimmerman, the left-wing national media won’t tell you this, but George Zimmerman is a registered Democrat and voted for Barack Obama for president. Local TV had the news, though.
Secondly, The Examiner reported that he has a pretty solid history of working to help African Americans and is even related to a few in his family.
- “He and a black friend opened up an insurance office in a Florida…”
- “He’d engaged in notably un-racist behavior such as taking a black girl to his high-school prom…”
- “Not only does he have black relatives, he has reportedly donated his time to tutor black children.”
- “He launched a campaign to help a homeless black man who was beaten up by a white kid.”
And months ago, Breitbart.com noted:
Not only was Zimmerman not a racist–he had a black business partner, has Afro-Peruvian roots, and helped out underprivileged black kids in his neighborhood — he also was a supporter of the very president who would later slander him by innuendo.
As Robert, George’s brother, told me, George is “a registered Democrat. He registered as a Hispanic. He kind of did some internal family campaigning for Obama.”
So, where is the national media on this?
Well, they are “reporting” that Zimmerman is a racist that wants to “shoot blacks in hoodies” and are fanning the flames of racism so that they have a more volatile story to tell, that’s where.
Just like our president who is trying to continue stirring race hate by widening the scope of attacks on Zimmerman with a faux civil rights trial.
