In more news on Obama’s utterly failed economy, 40% of workers are now saying they can’t find the sort of job they want and are being forced to settle for lower tier “contingent” jobs that they don’t want but have to take to put bread on the table.
Obama is a complete and utter failure… or is he? Many feel that he has planned the destruction of this country since day one. If so, he is wildly succeeding, don;t you think?
Anyway, here is Forbes on the latest numbers:
Tucked away in the pages of a new report by the U.S. General Accounting Office is a startling statistic: 40.4% of the U.S. workforce is now made up of contingent workers—that is, people who don’t have what we traditionally consider secure jobs.
…In contrast, in 2005, 30.6% of workers were contingent. The biggest growth has been among people with part time jobs. They made up just 11.9% of the labor force in 2005. That means there was a 36% increase in just five years.
And this isn’t even to mention the fact that more Americans than ever have just given up even looking for a job.
