Only One Complaint Causes School to Change ‘Christmas Break’ to ‘Holiday Break’

We are a nation of wimps, folks, when a single complaint can cause a school to cancel its Christmas break and turn it into “Holiday break.”

Seriously, there is no reason why this school should have changed the holiday name for one complaint.

A Massachusetts school board has banned the term “Christmas Break” due to one family’s complaint.

Back in September, Marshfield Schools approved a name change from “Christmas Break” to “Holiday Break.”

Since then, more than 4,000 people have signed a petition, urging the schools to reconsider.

This week, the school board voted to keep the name change.

School officials say it’s in the best interest of students and the town. The superintendent also stressed that the word “Christmas” will remain on the school calendar, and only the name of the break will change.

Unbelievable!
