Teen in ROTC Suspended for Wearing American Flag T-Shirt in Texas High School

Here we go again with another student being punished for wearing something with the American flag on it, this time it is in Seagoville, Texas where a ROTC student was suspended for wearing a t-shirt with an eagle and an American flag on it.

This kind of stuff is getting too much….

Jaegur Goode, a Junior who is a ROTC member at Seagoville High School, was given an in-school suspension for daring to wear the US themed t-shirt. Naturally, the teen’s mother is furious with the school’s decision to punish her son.

“He wants to go into the military,” Shelly Goode, the boy’s mother, told Fox 4 News. “He wants to help people, and any bad marks doesn’t look good.”

Jaegur told the news station that on Monday a school administrator ordered him to remove a sweatshirt he was wearing. Underneath the sweatshirt the boy was wearing the purportedly forbidden t-shirt. Once the administrator saw the shirt he cited Jaegur for violating the school’s dress code and sentenced him to an in-school suspension. The school later substantiated the incident.

Eventually the principal of the school apologized for the incident and promised that the suspension would not appear on the boy’s record.

How anti-American can our schools get? We have yet to see the depths as it gets worse every day.
