Tim Kaine, Flaming Leftist

Shrillary’s failing health could end up making Tim Kaine the President. This is not good news. Although no one could top Shrillary for corruption, Kaine is her match in moonbattery on social issues, gun rights, and immigration.

Kaine on social issues:

Kaine is a Roman Catholic as well as a U.S. senator from Virginia and a former governor of that state. He told the Human Rights Campaign during its national dinner Saturday in Washington that he had changed his mind about gay marriage and that his church may follow suit one day.

Maybe the Catholic Church will catch up to Tim Kaine regarding moral enlightenment. I sure hope not.

Like virtually all Democrats, he was against homosexual “marriage” until fairly recently. He excuses his new stance with the usual sophistry, conflating behavior with identity.

“Who am I to challenge God for the beautiful diversity of the human family? I think we’re supposed to celebrate it, not challenge it,” Kaine said.

The same lunatic reasoning could be used to justify literally any behavior.

Kaine on gun rights:

In May 2000, Tim Kaine, then-mayor of Richmond, Va., used more than $6,000 in public funds to charter eight buses. The buses were used to transport city residents from Richmond to the anti-gun, and inaccurately named, Million Mom March in Washington, D.C.

The Million Mom March was sponsored and organized by extremist gun control organization the Bell Campaign, which was later renamed the Million Mom March Foundation. …

Following a public outcry over the use of public funds for political purposes, including criticism from Richmond City Council members, Kaine was forced to seek private funds to reimburse the city. Despite the disapproval of citizens and his fellow public officials, Kaine was reluctant to admit wrongdoing, with the Richmond Times-Dispatch noting, “Kaine defended the subsidy on the ground that Richmond always has supported stricter gun laws.” At the time, the Times-Dispatch also reported that in regard to gun control, Kaine said, “I can’t think of an issue I’d rather be aligned with than this.”

He has been aligned with it ever since. The Daily Caller has details on his alarming history of attacking our fundamental right of self-defense.

Kaine on Islamic immigration:

In late spring [2015], with the war in Syria grinding into its fifth year amid an ever-deepening humanitarian catastrophe for millions of refugees, 14 United States senators wrote a letter to President Obama urging that at least 65,000 of the displaced Syrians be allowed to resettle in the United States.

Critics denounced the idea, saying it would open the nation’s borders to potential terrorists, and some even branded the authors of the letter as the “jihadi caucus.”

Guess who is a member of the hijrah-facilitating Senate Jihad Caucus? That’s right: Tim Kaine.

Elsewhere on the immigration front, Kaine has openly sided with people illegally invading the country at the expense of American citizens by promising amnesty in Spanish.

We are in for at least another 4 years of a barking moonbat in the White House; Shrillary’s failing health won’t save us.

Not necessarily much of an improvement.
